SWRO systems are membrane systems that operate according to cross flow principle without any backwash process.

TREATMENT OF RIVER WATER WITH LAMELLA
In Lamella Treatment Systems, design is made with the most suitable surface and with the least space possible and angle.
With this design, 10-fold more sedimentation surface is obtained by the space covered by lamella.
By keeping very little distance between plates, the space covered by the system is minimized.

THE SYSTEMS USED IN WATER TREATMENT PLANTS:
To ensure high-quality treatment according to WHO (World Health Organization) standards, pre-chlorination is an application required prior to sedimentation or filtration.
The aim of Flocculation-Coagulation is to remove the very thin particles, called "colloids" from water compounds by destabilizing there colloidal suspension and forming a floc of "colloids".
After chemical treatment, treatment of raw water is generally performed by sedimentation. To reduce sedimentation space, generally lamella is used for sedimentation. As opposed to conventional sedimentations, lamella sedimentation ensures more sedimentation surface in lower space area and thus, it saves space. After sedimentation, treated water is transferred to storage tank and water is supplied from storage tanks to sand filters by pressure with horizontal centrifugal pumps.
The purpose of sand filter is to remove all flocks and small particles, which cannot be removed by sedimentation process, and to prepare clean water for general use.
In order to ensure the final quality of treated water, a chlorine addition is added to plant effluent for disinfection purposes after the effluent has been treated.
